My first shirt:
I was about ready to turn this shirt in when I realized it was pretty dirty. So I threw it in the wash and then dried it. When I took it out little holes were every where next to the collar, the bottom band, and the side seams. Mom blames it on my bad unpicking skills, but I blame it on the washer. If thats not bad enough, it shrunk. It used to poof out at the bottom and was much longer. All of these things happened but I still love it. (No pattern involved I designed it myself)
My first sweater:
This was my most favorite thing to sew. I found this old flowery material in moms bins. Then I went to Savers, after a long day of looking through Hancock's material, and bought a Medium sized black shirt all together it cost me 2 dollars and 13 cents :) I am planning on making another one but white I am so excited! (I also designed this sweater)
My favorite part about my sweater are the sleeves!!!

Sweet. Looks like Lisa's rubbin' off on all of us. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the visit. I'm sure you were all so happy to get home, but it is kind of quiet around here this morning. Love your sewing projects and your art project. I had no idea you were so talented. Although I did get a taste of your cooking skills. SWEET! Guess what - my garland that I hung on the fireplace fell down last night around 2 in the morning. Bummer. It broke a couple of the hand-blown glass ornaments, but Kent fixed it (w/o Frank's help!) and now it's not going anywhere! Thanks for all you did while here - loved the scones & sinammon rolls!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I just went to Tamara's blog, but apparently she doesn't keep up with it much. Tell her thanks for the goodie scone and cinnamon rolls too. Thanks.
